I’ve since been both behind the desk in London tourist offices and out tour guiding on the city streets, learning along the way. From the big sights to the hidden gems, I believe a good guided tour should show you what you really want to see, not what the brochure says you should. I am a Londoner bred in the City. After living in London for the last 18 years and growing up in Central London, I am well informed of the vast variety of Tourist locations London has to offer. I also have experience working for an International tour company and often deal with a last group of tourists looking for a unique time in London that is both fun and memorable. I often deal with groups starting from 10 to 200 at times. Now working on my own I wish to do it outside of the company and offer tours with a twist.

I am both a lecturer in Graphic Communication at (LCC/UAL) in London, a designer and I run a cycle tour company. Artouride is a unique bicycle tour company specialising in art and design-related rides and practice based workshops. I am passionate about cycling, my city-London and art & design. I set up artouride to fuse these elements and passions together to be able to show Londoners and visitors the rich array of cultural highlights. I live aboard a boat in Greenland Dock, where I run most tours from. The shift in living on water enables you to be more sustainable and be closely connected to what is around you.

My name is Nick Smith In 2008 I completed the City of London University Guide Course. I am a member of The City of London Guide Lecturers Association and An Associate of the Institute of Tourist Guiding. See all the well known landmarks in London and many more that you may not know.
