I have lived in Amsterdam for ten years now. I grew up in the centre of the country, near the city of Utrecht. My curiosity makes me explore the city constantly. The museums, parks, architecture, distinct neighbourhoods, hidden courtyards and churches all have a special meaning to me. I have taken numerous Art History courses at university in the past years, and can provide you with book titles on different topics if you are looking for (also non-scholarly) reads on the city. For the last two years I was living in New York City as part of a study exchange, and after my studies worked as a bicycle tour guide for Bike the Big Apple Tour Company there. It was great fun!
