How to make a booking
Explore unique experiences in our global marketplace of passionate local sellers. On LocalGuiding you buy the tours and activities directly from the seller. It’s easy and no registration is necessary.
Find your
unique experience

Do you know where you want to go? Then enter your destination into the search box at the top of the page and click on the "Go" button. You'll get a list of all tours and activities in your selected destination.
Prefer to browse by category? Click "Tours and Activities" on the menu to view all categories. Choose a category to get a list of all available activities.
You can always narrow your search by filtering on the left side.
Take a look in detail at your favorite tours by clicking on the image. You'll see the full description of the tour, ratings and reviews from previous clients and more information about the person who is guiding the tour.

Have you found a unique tour you like? Book it now to confirm your reservation.
Select time, date and number of people you want to book for. Click then "continue" to proceed to checkout.
Confirm booking
with 10% down-payment

To confirm your booking you only have to pay a deposit of 10% of the tour price. It's as simple as using your credit card or paypal. Click on the "checkout" button to make this down-payment. This will take you to our secure payment page.
After completing your booking you'll receive an email with full details of your booking including tour guide contact information.
On the day of the tour you'll have to pay the remaining 90% of the tour price directly to the guide in cash as outlined in the booking confirmation. The Tour Guide may offer different payment methods. Check his Shop Policies and choose any of the methods he accepts.
