Trindade, distillery and waterfalls. Ecotourism, cultural and active activity.
Paraty means in guarani indigenous language "the meeting place of fresh and salt water". On this tour we can have the real taste of this meaning, enjoying beaches, cultural drinks and waterfalls. Trindade is consider to be one of the brazilian paradise. We are going to have nice spots to swim and take photos over amazing rockyshores. We will be also delight the cachaca spirit at most famous distillery of Paraty, called Coqueiro. Tobogã's waterfall, it is famous because it is a place where people slip off above the stone, a modality with risk and full of adrenaline. After has a small trekking of 10 minutes until Tarzã's waterfall, it is nice for swimming. In this tour we have a directly contact with the nature, and this way you can know the beauty of the flora of Paraty including one of the biggest tree of the region named Jequitibá and you can see plants like bamboo Brasil, Bromeliads among others. A day in paradise (Juatinga Park)
The trek starts by a short incline then enters the Atlantic forest (Mata Atlantica), at the heart of the "Ecological preservation area of Joatinga". After an hour and a half of pleasant walking, we reach, at lunchtime, the hamlet of Sono, located on the border of one of the nicest beaches of the region, Praia Do Sono. Literally meaning "sleepy beach", Praia Do Sono invites us, because of its name and also because as soon as we get back on the road, a short but very steep hill awaits us. After this climb, the hike becomes a lot less demanding. This is the only difficulty of the walk. We successively pass Praia Da Velha and Praia Dos Antigos before arriving, Due to the nature of the activity, weather is a major factor, therefore in case of bad weather the tour can be re-scheduled.
