Our tour to old Islamic and Coptic Cairo was amazing and we had a fantastic time. Also we were shown around all the best bits of Cairo, visited places that we would never have gone to on our own and all the while we were being told the stories and history of where we were. Comfortable air-conditioned car, professional driver, and the lunch was superb. Our guide Hanan Salah is a great guide, very friendly and reply to all of our questions. There was no rigid fixed time frame as you would experience with some other tour guides, in contrast she was quite flexible to personalize and organize our tour according to our interests and demands. It was a great day indeed.

If you want to see the city's main sights in a day then Egypt Budget Tours is the way to do it. I booked with their Guide Hanan Salah who was a very polite and knowledgeable guide. She gave us very good information about the city, and she was very flexible with us, she dropped us at the most interesting sights in the city, both modern and historic and she was very flexible with time and very patient with our changing demands.
