Overall guest satisfaction

Chiara

I was not so convinced to have a walking tour. I had my book guide in my hands, and I thought it was enough. A guided tour sounded like a school trip to me (kind of a boring time with boring explanations)! I WAS WRONG! We had a very delicious time on tour with our guide. She was a very expert one, and took us along the city centre making us feel like we were in our hometown. We really appriciated every single stop. Also the lenght was good: two hours is the right time to see the highlights: not too short nor too long. You are not in time to get tired at all (off course, it depends also on wha time you went to bed the night before). I was quite sceptical at the beginning, but very enthusiastic at the end.

I had a good experience about this tour. Maybe 1 hour is not a long time, but the museum is not that big, so you have a good chance to visit the highlights (the "David" above all) and have a exhausting explanation by the guide. The one which accompanied us was a very professional and gentle one. I really appreciated what she told us: we were not feeling like reading a wikipedia page (like someone could wonder): beyond an art lesson, she gave us anecdotes about Michelangelo, the time he lived in and the making of his masterpieces. The feeling was quite informal, but very good and confidential. An interesting choose to do.
