I love my wonderful city and it is a pleasure and an honour for me to show it..... I will make you discover the secrets hidden in the old stones and also recount some legends and funny stories about the Roman emperors, the people and the popes.
Rome is known as the eternal city because it embraces twenty-seven centuries of history. My name is Micaela... 39 years ago I was born in Rome, by parents who were tourists themselves in Rome!! Moreover they were always talking different languages! As a result I got a degree in foreign languages, and then I travelled a lot - working as a flight attendant, and discovering my deep passion for art, history and.... talking! On the year 2000, after attending the Institute of the Roman Studies, I started guiding friends, and foreigners... And now it is rewarding to me as an offical guide, to see people on tour beginning to appreciate my city with new eyes, and with the same love I have for Rome.
My perfect day
Wake up with a good "Cappuccino", ride my scooter to the City Center and have a nice walking tour with some new friends/customers, then after a light lunch in a local "trattoria", continue the visit to discover this amazing town ... a "gelato" in a panoramic terrace is the ideal place to end up the day ....
