Professional tour guide in Romania
I strongly believe that tour-guiding is not a job, but a part of oneself.
Besides beeing rewarding, it gives me time to live intensely, expand my view, enrich my knowledge.
And then I give back, expressing, sharing all I've accumulated and most important: the local spirit, ethos, here in ...(read more)Bucharest-Romania.
I started back in 2004, and soon after I had a great experience: a scholarship in Barcelona.
Came back and continued with tours in English and Spanish, 1 to 15 days, 1 to 50 persons (tourists, businessmen, journalists, delegates, students), from 1 hour-tour in Bucharest to 15 days-tour all over Romania.
Some highlights: on my linkedin profile.
Recently, I feel like people are starting to realize that Romania(that includes Transylvania)is incredibly attractive, unique and right here in SE Europe. Price Charles of Wales has stated this clearly. And it's the best PR we've ever had.
Thus, I've created my onw travel agency focused on exploring the cultural routes in Romania.
the freedom i feel in Bucharest, the sea coasts and Spain, reading, observing, experiencing everything naturally.
My perfect day
should always start with a shower and good-strong breakfast ended with coffee and melon. then a 1/2 day tour or a work session in the city center in a nice wifi place, on "my special revolutionary online project". followed by lunch and 1/2 hour powernap on a nice terrace during an ever-lasting indian summer would me my day. some exhibition, some concert, meeting wiht my friends should add a perfect end. sometimes i come close to this, during my powernap.
I have traveled to
Spain, France, Germany, Netherlands, Italy, Austria, Hungary, Czech Rep, Slovakia, Poland, Serbia, Bulgaria, Greece, Turkey, Mexico.
I am currently
living in Bucharest-Romania, working as a freelance tourguide and owner of a local travel agency: rumania-viajes.es (soon, english version. providing local expertise as well as interesting, well balanced tours.
