EPHESUS FULL DAY
Ephesus is considered one of the spectacular outdoor museums in Turkey, and perhaps the world - and one of the highlights of any visit to Turkey. On this privately guided tour, the city will come alive as you walk through 2,000 year-old marble streets to admire the Library of Celsius, one of the "Seven Wonders of the Ancient World", Hadrian's Temple, the Fountains of Trajan, Polio, The Temples of Hadrian and Domitian,Vedious and Scholastic Baths, Bouloterion, and the Great Theatre with capacity of 24.000 spectators. That which started as the need for road construction resulted in Humann’s archaeological studies and the uncovering of many beautiful pieces including the Zeus Altar and Gateway to the Sanctuary of Athena which were subsequently taken to the Pergamon Museum in Berlin.
