On bikes we are able to take you much further into London's amazing East End for the most comprehensive insight yet into it's interesting past, it's cultural present and a huge amount of street art that can't be seen on any other tours. This is the ultimate Alternative London tour which covers everything from our Alternative walking tours, our street art bike tour, the Columbia Road and Brick Lane markets (Sunday's) as well as venturing way off the beaten track into parts of East London that our walking tours can't reach. We ride at a relaxed pace along quiet roads and cycle paths, taking plenty of breaks along the way and we always keep our groups small. Tours start and finish near Old Street every Saturday and Sunday at 2p.m. Tours are 3.5 hours and are just £18 adults / £16 concessions & youths (13-17yrs). Bikes and helmets are provided. One of our expert street artist guides will take you on a street art walking tour of East London where you'll see some of the World's finest street art by Banksy, ROA, Shepherd Fairy, Jimmy C, Invader, Stik and many many more. Then, after a refreshment break it's back to the Alternative London workshop to try it for yourself! All welcome regardless of artistic ability as the Alternative London team will teach you all you need to know to help you to create a masterpiece to take away with you. We can also take an image from your smart phone or usb stick and turn it into a stencil for you to make a personalised piece for yourself or as a gift.
Street Art

This tour will expose you to many urban artists’ work that adorn the walls, bridges and facades of London. Due to the transitional nature of this art form we will discover new work on a regular basis. Cycling around the back streets, residential and commercial areas you will get a true taste of either the East End or South East and the outskirts of the city.
Architecture + Design Cycle Tout
Places to See in London: London is one of the cultural capitals of design and architecture and our tour will showcase some of its finest examples, led by a designer guide. This tour will take you around some of London’s best sights of historical and contemporary architecture and design icons away from the tourist traps, with specialist commentary. Our ride will also incorporate modern sculptures and historical landmarks. This route will head east along the Thames path towards Greenwich, along the peninsula and across to the Isle of Dogs (via the Greenwich foot tunnel) and Canary Wharf before returning across the Thames on the Hilton ferry, for a short ride back to our starting point.
