Sailing from Amsterdam

Amsterdam 08:00hs 6 max. 0 reviews

Things to do in Amsterdam: Private charters including skipper for small groups and individual guests. Sail onboard my beautiful sailing yacht and take the helm yourself, sailing experience is not required. Discover places of interest near Amsterdam like Volendam, Muiden or the fortress island Pampus during a full day trip. A half day trip without a stop anywhere would also be a worthwhile experience in case you only have little time available. Invite your family, friends or colleagues to get an attractive discount. Turn your full - or half day sailing trip into a city trip by spending one or two nights onboard the yacht when it's securely moored in the marina very close to the city centre. I organize various recreational sailing charters for people with little to no yachting experience. Reservations through my website can be made without any obligation. Shortly before departure the nautical weather forecasts will be evaluated by me. Good weather conditions are therefore guaranteed otherwise your booking can be postponed free of charge. 1-Day Holland Experience

Amsterdam 09:00hs 8 max. 0 reviews

Things to do in Amsterdam: Enjoy a fascinating sight at the flower auction of Aalsmeer (flower capital of the world). The colors and activity will dazzle you. A large part of land from the Netherlands has been created out of water. For draining smaller lakes we used windmills. At "De Cruquius", you experience how the Haarlemmermeerpolder was drained and land was created out of water. The Beemster is the first so-called polder in the Netherlands and added to the UNESCO World Heritage Site list. You visit the villages Graft and De Rijp in the polder on foot or bicycle. We will pass windmills and Fort Spijkerboor. This fort is part of the Defence line of Amsterdam', which is also on the World Heritage list. In the old fishing town of Volendam the ferry takes us to the island of Marken, crossing the Ijsselmeer. On this island, in the former Zuiderzee, traditional dresses are still being worn. Most of the typical wooden houses are listed as a national monument. By the end of the day you have had a true Holland Experience. 1-6 people, price is based on use of SUV with 7 seats. 5-8 people, I rent a van with 9 seats.

Local Tour : NDSM, Westerdok, Jordaan

Amsterdam 03:00hs 5 max. 0 reviews

Things to do in Amsterdam: I offer unique non-standard tours through the beautiful and lively city of Amsterdam. During the tour I will show you my favourite parts of the city, especially the locations which are not swamped with tourists! For example the NDSM-Shipyard, the Westerpark, the Jordaan area and the Red Light District. If there are specific locations you would like to visit, it is possible to create a specially customized tour in order for you to enjoy everything Amsterdam has to offer. During the tour I can give you recommendations for other places to go to during your stay in Amsterdam, such as interesting museums, must-see art galleries, amazing architecture, shopping areas, restaurants and bars. But I can also tell you more about the city’s history, housing and more, so that you won’t miss a thing of this lovely city! WHAT’S DIFFERENT? Don’t just join those herds of tourists who only visit the cliché parts of the city. There is so much more to explore! I offer you informal tours and meet ups which are great if you have just arrived in Amsterdam or if you already did some sightseeing. I can answer your questions about the things you have seen in the city and I will try to explain our weird Dutch culture (more or less). Even locals enjoyed exploring the city with me and were amazed about the things they didn’t know. So locals, let me try to surprise you in your own city! ABOUT ME During the last two years as a host for AirBNB, I have had the pleasure to introduce many guests from all over the world to the vibrant capital of Holland. I live in a nice apartment just outside the centre of Amsterdam, a perfect spot to explore the city. Over the years I opened my home to more than 200 guests, of which many were interested in learning more about Holland, Amsterdam and Dutch culture. This is why I started to offer unique, local tours for my guests. It has become a great hobby of mine, which both me and my guests enjoy very much. For this reason I have decided to become a local guide in Amsterdam for everyone who likes to have a unique, non-standard tour of Amsterdam!
