Tours in Rome: In the heart of sacred Rome The Theme of the supremacy of the soul over the body is the center of the event, a musical and artistic itinerary inside one of the most surprising locations in Rome: the Capuchins museum. Decorated with the bones of 4000 friars who died in the last centuries, the Crypt, inside the Capuchin museum, looks terrifying but in reality it is a message of hope and peace. The musical program is rare and valuable and alternates the archaic mysticism of the Gregorian Chant, the most ancient form of Occidental music, with the best of the Roman polyphony, that culminated in papal Rome. The composers of the musical program are the Sistine Chapel Masters from Renaissance to Baroque. A succession of wonders will immerse us into the heart of sacred Rome thanks to the extraordinary performance of a complex, highly specialized and internationally recognized group: Schola Romana Ensemble.
